Well, I just called the clinic that did Tasiya's speech eval and they just finished the report and sent it off to me and the insurance company. So it looks like Tasiya is not going to start speech therapy next week but the week after that. Grrrr.

Aww, sweetie, that sucks. But 2 weeks for a private clinic that probably does see a lot of patients isn't too bad. I have had to wait upwards of a month to get reports and eval results before. neither situation is fun and its soooo frustrating because you just want to get everything started as soon as possible so you can start helping your baby.

They didn't seem to busy when I went there and they first told me it would take at most a week so I took their word for it. I probably shouldn't have done that I guess. hehe...

Well that's better than most private places around here. They are usually just as booked as the providers through EI, but if they told you a week, I would have expected it to be done in a week too.
