Hi...my name is Lindsay and i am mom to two wonderful boys. Hunter who is 3 and Landon who is just 10 weeks ... Hunter is speech delayed. He was evaulated at 2.5 year by our school district. He sees a speech therapist once a week and will be attending a special needs preschool starting next month. Again this is through our school district and absoultely free. We have seen much improvement in the 8 months he has been in speech. He used to only say one words and never combine to make a small sentence and his pronucation was...well not up to par either. Now his words are sounding better and he does 2 and evne some 3 word combos. He was evualted for other delays, but his only delay is speech.
Welcome Lindsay! I'm Michele, Mommy to Anastasiya (2 yrs old). Tasiya was diagnosed with a severe speech delay this month. Her receptive was within normal limits but her expressive speech was found to be within 9-12 months range. She starts once a week speech therapy next week on Monday. That is wonderful how well speech therapy has been for your son. That gives me hope that it will hlep Tasiya. I look forward to talking and getting to know you!

I guess i could have included that. Hunter's receptive has always been great, but it was his expressive that was extremely lacking as well. But yes, he has come a long way and i am sure you're daughter will too
