I promissed an update as we go through the process of helping my son with his speech. We finally received a call from CHEO during my kids March Break the week of March 16th. The following week we were booked into the parent workshop as they call it. Now we have to wait again for the assessment call which will be anywhere from April to July. I hope its sooner then later. I have been working with my son to help him try and take his time when he talks and trying to get him to pronounce his letters like s, v , p better. I hope they at CHEO can give us more pointers down the road. It breaks my heart when he tries and says something and I have to ask him to repeat it over and over again cause I can't understand some wordshe says. If you girls have any npointers or anything that could help me I am game.

I hate the waiting game. My son is in jr k and one of the teachers is wanyting him to maybe do it again cause of his speech. Socially and for him personally I don't think thats a smart idea. I called a few speech-language pathologists today. Praying I can find someone quickly.
