Things seem to be "clicking" for him lately. He has made so much progress in the last month and we are so excited for him! He is now attempting new sounds and words, which he has never done before! It was like he was too shy to try to copy speech sounds and words, but he's come so far!
Some new words:
Mommy (instead of mama)
Ty-Ty (brother Tyler)
Bye (instead of buh buh)
He is also attempting letter names! I go through the alphabet with him and he repeats each letter after me. If he can't say it, he at least tries. And sometimes instead of repeating my letter, he will say the next letter (i.e., I say F and he says G)
And the one I'm most proud of--he is spelling his name all on his own. The other day I was putting his brother into the carseat and Sean was standing behind me in the driveway, and I heard him say "S-E-A-N!" My heart melted, I was so very proud of him. I just can't believe how far he's come in the past month!
