Joshua went for his first speech therapy last week and his session went great. Every session will consist of three goals the therapist and Joshua will work tomwards. After the session is done we will receive homework to work on with Joshua until his next session. His first session went very well. I hope we can keep going at this pace and get his speech articulated quickly so everyone can understand him better. Joshua loves working with his therapist and she works very well with kids from what I can see. His next session is next Tuesday.

I'm glad your session went so well! Sounds like a very motivated therapist... I can't wait to hear the progress he makes!

I am all excited to. Still wondering where he would be now without her. I still Haven't heard from the speech pathology section of the Childrens hospital here in Ottawa. I feel like they have really let me down. I don't think they will call anytime soon either. I am blessed to be able to go the private route for now.

I am so glad you can go the private route! We are in the same boat - phenomenal private help, and less than stellar follow up from our hospital.

I am just curious to see if the hospital does call before the end of the month. It's prety sad how many kids need it now but are let down by the sysrem cause its such a slow process.
