Here are some pics from the birth of my daughter Kayori Reighlynn. My labor was barely 5 hours long from start to finish. My midwife didn't even make it, but her nurse showed up about 20 minutes before I gave birth. My midwife lives almost 2 hours away. She showed up about 15-20 minutes after the birth. We did not find out the sex and after I had her, I held her for almost 5 minutes before even checking the sex.

No I had a horrible hospital birth. The water was amazing. Although since everything went so fast I was already a 10 when I got in the pool, the water was only 1 foot deep, and I started pushing right away, she was out in 3-4 pushes. But the water helped me alot. I felt better immediately. It was amazing, and I would deffinately do it at home in water again.

thanks

It hurt but because I was in my own home it was so easy to be calm which helped me be able to manage my pain better, plus the water was a big help
