Anyone else having problems with this? they are literally hitting each other, and I'm not sure how to discipline them on it. All they understand is the word no. I'l saying no and Andrew is looking up at me with his hand open and smacking Nikolas, and everytime I say no he does it again. I know he's testing me, so I gave his hand a little tap and said no no. and he did it again!!! This went back and forth until I picked him up and put him in the playpen for a time out. That seemed to work. Anybody have any suggestions???
Linda, mommy to Nikolas & Andrew, 5 year old twin boys and Ember Rose, almost 3.
I wish I had some, lol. My twins are just now starting to get over this phase thank God. My only suggestion is time outs and lots of them, lol. My twins got to the point where they were biting each other and almost drawing blood. And of course the smacking and punching. It get's easier through time though!!
