I hope to breastfeed, but know that doesn't always work out. We may try to bottle feed w/ breastmilk at night to get a little extra sleep. As a first time mom, I have no idea how any of this is going to work out, so I'm trying to be really flexible in my plan

Both. The lactation consultant had me start out with a routine of BF, supplementing, and then pumping. I am going to mostly BF but also use pumped milk in bottles so DH can feed as well. He missed out on feedings with our first son as he wouldn't take to a bottle at all.

FF. I tried to BF but I just wasn't making enough...not to mention I realized I could not give up my sleep to pump. I was too tired, and my boobs were just not making enough to make it worth the time for me. I don't know, maybe I'm lazy, but formula feeding worked out best for me and my needs. Besides, DH was able to help me and let me sleep in, and I didn't have to pump or do anything but focus on my health and enjoying my babies!

I assume they are exclusively breast fed/feed and expressed breast milk. Could be wrong though.

I plan to EBF as I did with my 1st 2, I feed each 18mos, they quit. I enjoy it. I just hope I can get them to eat together! I always had extra and pumped some for outings, etc. so I may do the same....still have my double electric pump

I tried to EBF, I didn't produce enough milk and had to supplement right from the get-go because of low birth weight. After two weeks of nursing and pumping round the clock I still was only getting 8cc's out of each breast. I took Fenugreek, Blessed thistle and mother's milk tea. I never even got engorged. The lactation consultant told me I had Tubular breasts. I had never even heard of that before that day. Looked it up a month ago or so and found it is also called Hypoplastic Breasts. Yay me. lol. Here's a link to a discription of it at Babycenter if your curious. Wish I would have known about it sooner, I had the baby blues pretty bad and no breastmilk was a big contributer to that. :: I still get sad about it sometimes. I loved to nurse them it was so great.

Now my girls are FF and I went through quite the ordeal finding a good one. Ended up on Enfamil Gentlease. Thank goodness! They both do the best on that one. Bella still gulps air and has acid reflux but after switching formulas a bunch, I found that it was pretty much the same with each one. This one produces the best baby poop. lol.

Now I'm moving to rice cereal and I'm just as confused. Apparently being a mom never gets easier?! LOL.
