I had mine at 28 weeks which was good. Any later and it would have been difficult! Not to mention, you don't know what might happen- so the earlier the better!

i have lissy's planned for october 17, when she is about 26 weeks but i know her mom's family is giving her a shower in late september as well. better a little early rather than being in the hossy for her shower or having newborns to tend and trying to be cheerful and upbeat when exhausted.

I had my shower in January and I was due in march. I had the girls in Feb. I don't suggest having it that late. I was on bedrest and had to get special permission to go! I was really uncomfortable too! I think I should have had it in December.

I had two planned for October. I was due Christmas Day. I had the girls on Wednesday before my shower on Sunday. I was suppose to have one two weeks later too. We had it the end of October. I would rather have it early than late. Their is just so much that can happen or bed rest. You would rather be able to enjoy it than be so uncomfortable.

My husband's cousins are due with twins in Jan and they are having the shower Aug 22. They live a distance away so travel is an issue. This is #3 and #4 for me so there will not be a shower for these kiddos. I LOVE buying shower gifts for babies.

I guess if there are going to be people coming from out of town that would be ok. But I think that 2 months is plenty for a twin mommy.
