Hi my name is Rani and I am mom to 1yr old twin girls. I am having a problem with one biting the other, Skyla seems to be much more agressive than Elaina and I am constantly catching her biting and hitting on her sister. Any ideas on what I can do to limit this other than trying to stay on top of them all the time?
I appriciate any help I can get thanks

I had problem with biting too. Only they didn't bite each other, they bit me!!! Usually when they were excited and sometimes when they were mad. Lots of loud, firm NOs. They haven't done that for a while I just noticed. When they fight they get times out. We like to hit. So I start by firm NOs and then smacking the hand of the agressor (not hard, just enough to get their attention). Sometimes they stop and sometimes they test me. Then the agressor gets picked up and put in the playpen for a time out. And you would think I just broke their little heart!!!!!

Well good luck and welcome to the board!!!!! Its a little slow but please keep posting!!! And if you come up with anything that works let me know.

Oh I thought of something else. Seperation for a while. I let one play in the living room and the other play in their bedroom for a while when it gets rough. When one cries I think the other crys louder just so he won't be undone. Putting them in different rooms lets everyone get back on an even keel.

And I forgot to introduce myself! I'm linda and my twin boys are 18months old now. Wow, where does the time go!
