I don't post here a whole lot but just wanted to say that we are now pregnant with #4. I am due April 4th. I'm sure it will be just one baby as Nathan and Reagan were a result of a frozen IVF cycle. Riley and this baby were done the old fashion way......I have know idea how we could be so infertile and then become so fertile but I'll take it!

Totally crazy!

IF docs had us go straight to insemination with clomid then injectibles because they said we had pretty much "zero" chance with just sex and IF meds. When that didn't work after 7 cycles we saw a different IF doc for IVF. The new doc said that DH's sample was so weak that it most likely wouldn't penatrate the egg with regular IVF (setting the egg and sperm in the same dish) He said we HAD to do ICSI where they search for one really good looking sperm and inject it right into the egg!!!

Needless to say, my DH now thinks he is this amazing stud .

CONGRATS!! How exciting for you guys.

Question for you. How is it having a set of twins followed by a single baby just 20 months apart? That's about the time frame we're looking at if we are successful at TTC our first month. Am I crazy for wanting another baby so soon after having a set of twins? I go back and forth about whether we should wait a bit longer or not.

I'm a whimp so I think it was a little rough in some places but it is also lots of fun. My son is on the autism spectrum (moderate autism and non-verbal) so that puts a different twist on things and makes things a bit more challenging.

Riley was so much easier for me than the twins. The singleton pregnancy was a bit easier and Riley was such a good baby right from the start. Even though N&R were born at 36 weeks and pretty healthy, having a full term single baby was WAY different in my case and so much easier.

But hey...don't you have a really good chance at having twins again ?

Congrats! I've heard this many of times...being told they'll never get preggo and then doing IVF and getting pregnant very soon after IVF.

Good luck!

Shush now. I don't even like to think about that! We all know we love our twins and wouldn't trade it for anything...doesn't mean any of us want to do it again!!

Thanks for giving me a little background as to what it's like. Maybe I'll let Dh make the decision as to whether we will "try" or not. Maybe we'll just NTNP for a while? Who knows.

Again, congrats!!! So excited for you!
