I know with a c-section you have to stay in the hospital a few more days. How many days did you stay in the hospital? And did you deliver vaginal or c-section?

Had c/s on tuesday morning, went home on friday morning..we had the option to stay another day b/c boys were having trouble b/f'ing - we decided to go home. I think the standard is 2 day with vaginal and 3 with c/s.

Our Insurance paid for 4 days so we stayed for 4. It gave me a night to spend with Eclipse at the hospital before taking her home (she spent the first 3 days in NICU) and I was a bit nervous about everything with her.

I was induced on Tuesday, ended up needing a C-section on Wednesday, and I was discharged on Sunday. I stayed until Monday though, because they wanted to watch Jasmine an additional day for weight gain issues.

I had the girls on Thursday night via csection and left around noon on Monday. I couldn't wait to get out of there by then. I was looking forward to sleeping and only waking when the girls wake me and not constantly being woken by nurses. I was off all pain meds by the time I left, so probably could have left on Sunday, but it was nice to have some things done for me.

My insurance let me stay up to 5 days for a c-section, but I only stayed 4. My boys were ready to come home and I was doing fine. I probably could have gone home by 3 days, but we stayed 4 cause they boys circumcision (no debate please) was planned late on the 3rd day there and we figured it was a good idea to stay there over night before going home.

I delivered vaginally and was in for the 48 hours. Honestly, I wished it was longer!

I had my C-section on Tuesday morning and went home Friday afternoon. They gave me the option to spend another night but I just wanted to get home at that point to get a full night of rest (the girls spent another 12 days at the hospital)

I had my c-section early Saturday morning & was discharged on Tuesday afternoon. I could have left Sunday or Monday, but I figured, why not use the extra help with the boys while I could. I'm really glad that we did stay as long as we did.

I seriously hate hospitals they give me anxiety attacks....i think it stems from pratically living in them as a child due to my asthma.I only stayed in the hospital one day with my last two pregnancies but they were both vaginal.I pushed to leave and with my last pregnancy i did regret it because i could have used the rest.I think with having the c-section i will defiantly use the extra days in the hospital to rest so i'm not so exhausted when i come home.

We stayed 5 days, but the last day I was technically discharged and the boys weren't. Oh and I had a vaginal delivery.

We didn't have a choice on delivery, it was a c/s. I was in there from Monday afternoon to Thursday night, just barely 3 days. I couldn't stay in there b/c my anxiety level was through the roof. I have a serious problem w/ hospitals. It was the hardest thing in the world to leave the hospital & my babies but I slept so good that night, I would have done it again in a heart beat.
