What did you do for their first birthday party? What type of theme, if any, did you have?
I'm starting to plan Will & Ava's first bday, it's not until Oct 22nd, but I am trying to come up with a unique theme to use for boy/girl.
Any suggestions?

I had a Thing 1 Thing 2 themed shower. You could do that. We had lots of red and blue decorations, red velvet cup cakes with blue frosting, red & blue M&M's and sugar cookies decorated with the their logo.

My nieces just celebrated their 1st birthday.. and Tra went with the them Two Peas in a Pod... I would think that you go do that for a Boy and Girl... ( I wasn't able to go) but I know that most of the decorates along with the cake where green and white.

I haven't had my twins yet, but I did this for my son's 1st birthday and it didn't seem too boyish or too girlish, and I had to think of the many older kids attending, I did a circus theme. We had popcorn machines, cotton candy machines, games with tickets to raffle prizes (mostly for the older kids), a big top tent and a clown cake. It was a lot of fun. You could tone it down if you don't have many kids attending, or if they are smaller kids, but you get the gist.

My LO's first birthday was Halloween themed. We had a costume party for all the kiddos attending. and had out bowls of trick or treat type candy. I also made popcorn balls. All the kids really enjoyed it cause they got to dress up.
