Sooo...the tech we had was really new, she was a sweetheart, but I don't think she was very confident in a couple of things, mostly because she was looking at two babies not one. The twins were very active, so she mixed them up a couple of times because they kept changing positions. But either way, they both were measuring right on time and looked great.....so we are having....

Identical

BOYS! I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, I really wanted at least one girl. But, DH really made me feel better by saying "well honey, I know we said this was it, but, we can always try for one more" so that made me feel better because I know he wanted a girl too so it may not be over for us yet. But I must admit, it didn't look like boys, well baby A definitely didn't, but there was only one placenta, which means they are identical, so if Baby B is a boy, then baby A would have to be a boy. But, I'm having plenty of U/S between now and then to confirm. So yay team blue Oh, and If I have any of you on FB, please don't mention the sex, we are not announcing until Thanksgiving.

Congrats! I know the feeling of disappointment. I had one son when I got pregnant with the twins. I was really hoping for at least one girl. No such luck though. I wouldn't trade my boys for anything now though! I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy!

We didn't find out what we were having until the big birthday. And I think in those 28 minutes from the time "A" was born until "B" came out, there was a part of both DH and I hoping for a boy. We knew we already had out girl, so wouldn't a boy be nice?? But when "B" came out as a girl as well, one look at her and I completely forgot about ever wanting a boy at all!!

So congrats! One look at your boys and you won't be able to even imagine one of them being a girl!

Congrats on your boys!!! I'm a mom of identical boys as well, so much fun!!!

I had a girl first so, I agree with JessieJean when she says that when you see your babies, you will be so in love that you will forget about ever wanting a boy at all. DH & I both wanted a boy with the first, but were blessed with a girl.

They are sharing a placenta (they are mono/di twins)....i think they spent a good 40 minutes going over the placenta because they couldn't find the second umbi cord.....the longest 40 minutes of my life (I had no idea if something was wrong and with 2 techs looking on the screen, I was freaking out). I'm 18w, 5d today.

My husband is still hoping that the lil boy parts will fall off one of them
