Just curious, when do most docs induce labor with a twin pregnancy? Thanks!

I will most likely be having a scheduled c-section or if I go into labor a c-section anyway - but I hope this helps...

My dr was going to wait until I was 38 weeks. I made it to 36.

My doctor said 38 weeks as well. I know this is horrible, but I was ready for them to come out, so we had sex and that started my labor. I was already having contractions every 3 to 5 minutes, but they weren't real contractions.

We had scheduled an induction at exactly 38 weeks. But they decided to arrive on their own at a little over 37 weeks.

I think it really depends on the doctor and your particular pregnancy. For me, I scheduled an induction for 38 weeks. My OB said he ONLY scheduled it b/c I had been 3 cm dilated and like 90% effaced from 35 weeks on. I did not have the induction though- my water broke like 3 days before it!

Also, my OB was all for a vaginal delivery, and I even delivered in the L&D room, NOT the OR. Which is unheard of.
