I can't believe it! Part of me is really sad because this will be my last pregnancy and the other part is soooooooooooooooo glad because I can't handle being pregnant anymore. I also feel so blessed to have made it this far... especially with the girls being mono-di. Everything has gone perfect... girls measuring the same, growing accordingly, and staying in my belly until 37 weeks. I am so thankful for that because when we found out they were mono-di's I was so scared for them. Thankfully everything has turned out so well.

I am so nervous about bringing two babies home while trying to take care of a (almost) 3 year old. I am really afraid of the c-section because I've never had surgery before either. Any advice on recovery? What worked and what didn't work as far as pain management? Any other tips?

Wish us luck and I'll update as soon as I can. The fun is just beginning right?!

Awww! Good luck tomorrow - I will be thinking of you.
As a mom who as had 2 previous c-sections my advice is take it easy. If you need help ask. When in the hospital get moving around as soon as you feel up to it - it will make recovery and feeling back to noraml come faster. They will also giving you pain meds to take if you want in the hospital and at home - if you need them take them. Don't feel bad about it especially if you are nursing. I was nervous if I needed them b/c I was nursing - the doctors and nurses told me it was such a small amount there was no real affect. Most importantly - ENJOYS YOUR BABIES

Keep up on your pain meds! that would be my number one. if you need to cough or something hold a pillow over you incision. Don't freak out when you swell. My feet and face were soooo swollen after.

I found this helpful before I had my section:
