Hi Ladies,
For those of you who don't remember, I am about 15 weeks pregnant with identical twins. Everything (besides the constant morning sickness and food aversions) has been going well, until Friday. On Friday my mom and I were out shopping for Christmas, I felt like we were doing good about taking breaks and resting, but then in the afternoon when I went to the bathroom I had brown tinted discharge in my underwear and a little when I wiped. I have had a lot of discharge on and off this whole pregnancy, but never brown. Then after that one occurrence I haven't had problems ever since.

I am going to call the doctor tomorrow just to be careful, but have any of you had this before?

Thanks so much,
Jacquie

***UPDATE***
Thanks again to everyone who responded. I just got back from the doctor. I had to go to a doctor different than my usual and let's just say I didn't find him very nice! Anyway, he said that the brown spotting is nothing to worry about. He said it could just be the color of the mucus or old blood, but either way there isn't anything they could do about it. He listened to the heartbeats and found them both right away. Since I have an ultrasound scheduled for next week he said that it would be safe to just wait until then to get a closer look at the babies. So for now I am just going to stop worrying...or try!

Not specifically like that - I had a subchorionic hemorrage with my second son. Either way he was fine and the remainder of my pregnancy was great. Keep us posted and I am sure everything will be fine

I had brown discharge sometimes during my pregnancy. I believe that if the blood is brown then it is old and things are ok?? You should call your doctor if you're worried but I think everything should be just fine. It sounds normal to me.

I agree, it sounds like some sort of old blood that just came out or something. Or it could be some kind of yeast infection? I would definitely call the doctor to check.

I am sure everything will be fine too.

Yep, I had a few episodes of brown spotting the first few months and the doctor didn't think it was a big deal and told me to watch for large amounts, clots, and anything bright red. Everything has been just fine ever since.

I'm sorry he wasn't very nice. I know its hard not to worry. I never really had a reason to worry but worried all the time. I hope you can relax a little.
