I've never seen a side by side stroller that holds two infant carriers. I have the Chicco tandem and love it. There is definitely an after market for it and I plan on selling mine. My friend with twins sold her and got $240 for it so it basically cost her $60 to use it.
my aunt bought us the city mini side by side but it only holds one infant seat. it also didnt fit through our apt door so i got the city select and love it! it easily switches out carseat adapters and seats and is a single and a double stroller. def pricey but i had tons of gift cards. i have never seen a side by side that can hold two carseats.
i never liked babies r us and fortunately we have a buy buy baby nearby- much better! we found a nice stroller geek there and i got to ask all my questions!
Valco states on their website their stroller doesn't hold two car seats since it would make it too wide. I called BOB since I was curious about this as well, and they also said the duallie was only recommended for one carseat despite the set-up. The lady at BOB told me the only one that could hold two seats was the Baby Trend Navigator Jogger.
I love our BOB and it definitely fits through most doorways and we occasionally used it at the mall (use the Jeep Double Umbrella more since our twins are older) and always at the zoo.
Hope that helps!
