I'm pregnant with Baby Bean #7, pregnancy #10 for me.....Yesterday I had my first appointment with my OB and I mentioned to her how large my uterus felt to me already. She suggested it most likely had to do with the fact that I've used it many times before That was until she checked me herself. I'm measuring approximately 7 weeks ahead. That being said, it's impossible because our last baby is just 16 weeks herself. I also had an abdominal ultrasound last Saturday that stated the baby was measuring right on target. My OB immediately made an appointment for me with a specialist for Monday.

What I'm wondering is, did any of you have an early ultrasound that didn't see the second baby and then later have another ultrasound that did? And how large were you all measuring with your twins?

I'm hoping to join all of you come Monday

Both of my babies were seen at 6weeks. I measured 9 weeks ahead at my appts, but I don't think that was until I was several months pg.

Mine were found very early too (9 weeks). My OB didn't start measuring until I was like 18 weeks or something. I measured about 8 weeks ahead until the last months then I was 10 weeks ahead.

My doctor saw both babies early on - two gestational sacs at 5 weeks.

We found out very early and I didn't get measured for a while. If your youngest is only 16 weeks, is it possible that your uterus never made it back down to original size before you got pregnant again? I don't know... just a guess. Keep us posted though and thinking happy thoughts for you and your little bean.

Thanks everyone so much for your input! I'll be sure to update everyone come Monday

1+twins - I did ask my OB if that was a possibility and she said that at my 6 weeks it was already back to normal size. I would think my uterus has major stretching room, but I wouldn't think 7 weeks worth! That just totally shocked me! lol

They saw both of mine at 9 weeks and I had heartbeats and everything by then. They didn't start measuring me until I was about 24 weeks though, so I can't help with that. I would expect that if this is your tenth pregnancy then your uterus knows what it is doing by now and that may have something to do with it too.
