it took 13.5 months to get here, but I am FINALLY able to say having twins ROCKS! Seriously I thought I would hate my life forever (I know that sounds horrible) because I just was in this constant state of exhaustion and Brooklynn just seemed to be miserable ALL THE TIME. Now though, they are so happy and so funny and so cute and I LOVE IT! Don't get me wrong, they still have their moments but I just LOVE watching them together now. They just walk up and hug each other and it is so funny and I melt every time. Sometimes they just slap each other too, but that is still funny. I feel like maybe something snapped in me too. Like I was finally able to process it all better. I don't know what it is. I have been feeling this way for a few weeks but didn't want to post about it until I knew for sure I wasn't going to feel differently in a few days. LOVE THEM and my big girl Hailey!

I felt like you did, once they started walking it got a thousand times better, though mine didn't walk until 18 months adjusted, lol! I absolutely love 24 months actual!

I'm so glad that you're at this point now! I know you've had a really rough go of it ... but you're finally at that stage other twin moms say is coming ... the "It does get better!"

I'm anxious for us to get there, too. Our biggest problem right now is still sleeping through the night. They were great at it until about 6 months and since then it's been horrible. Other than that, I love it ... I just can't wait to LOVE it on more sleep, lol.

That's awesome you've hit that point. I think I hit that at 9 months. As soon as they were mobile my life was so much better. They still have their difficult times, but I have loved every month since then. Every month I say this is my favorite one.

I hit that point when mine were mobile. It got harder in a way b/c they were running in 3 different directions, but easier b/c they could entertain themselves and they started playing with toys at that time and it's so much fun! Lots of work though.

Yay! I love seeing posts like this! The first year is ROUGH. Shoot, even the 2nd year is pretty tough, but it does get more enjoyable! My girls just turned 3 and I am LOVING it right now. Yeah, the tantrums are worse, but they play TOGETHER! Today they were playing together SO nicely and they didn't even mind when I went downstairs for a minute!

You will have your rough patches, but for me anyway, after 1 year it just kept getting easier. There are moments, of course, when it is tough.
