I have boy/girl twins and CANNOT stand the same comment I hear over and over- "oh you're so lucky, a boy and a girl, you must be done!" I don't think there has been a time we have gone out with them that I have not had to give my typical answer- "no she needs a sister"... I don't know maybe everyone really just wants one boy and girl? I definitely hope to have more kids but don't feel like discussing my plans to do so with strangers!

I KNOW! I hate it because people assume they are my only ones. I have a 4 year old daughter too and I always feel the need to point that out to people because their comment irritates me so much!

We get some mixed responses b/c we have 3 boys. We get "Are you gonna try for a girl" and we also get "Oh at least you are all done now since you had 3 at once."

People still ask if A&E are b/g twins. They look alike and usually have girl type clothes on and sometimes even have their hair up when people ask this. We get comments about beign done just because we have 2 kids. It's amazing what people will say.

Oh after JoJo was born and even when i was pregant with her we got the comment ALL the time...heck a few people asked me while pregnant with her if I was going to get my tubes tied... Just because we had a girl and a boy and two kids. Hello...not one person ever asked if we wanted a third or not...they just assumed.

of course now people think we are crazy....heck my brother won't even talk to me because I am pregnant.

When we told people we were having twin girls (we also have a 3 year old daughter) they always made comments like "Oh, your poor husband" or "are you going to try for a boy?" It drove me NUTS. Like having 3 girls would be a disappointment or something... I was just happy to have healthy babies.

So many ignorant ppl out there who need to learn how to keep their mouths shut. The worst comment made to me by a stranger was if my boys had mental difficulties because they were wearing helmets. I mean how stupid can one be. I told her she was the one with mental difficulties and walked off.

DH and I would love another baby. We'd be equally excited about having a girl or a boy. I don't think this is something I fully understood until I became a parent.

The comments I got when A&E were in helmets were amazing. A lot of older people assumed they were in helmets because they were learning to walk and I was very protective. Some people assumed they were for seizures. I had a lot of little kids comment and their parents tried to pull them away and hush them. I always told people exactly what they were for.

I get that but have 2 older boys and soon the twin girls - everyone say oh what a perfect family 2 boys and 2 girls - you guys are done! I know that we would have 4 kids but we always wanted a large family and hope that we can get pg atleast one more time, but those comments are getting annoying!

I understand ... ever since we found out these were b/g twins, I get that comment ALL the time. We may be done after this, but then again we may not. And if we are done, it is because we decided 2 were enough, NOT because they happened to be a boy and a girl

Its amazing what people will say, where's your filter people!!!?! We get "well at least you got your girl" like it would have been a travesty if Danika had been a boy and we had 3 boys.
