Home daycare? I've been doing it for about 8 years now. Of course I'm planning on taking some time off when my twins are born. It's a good moneymaker, doesn't cost too much to get set up, and very fulfilling
I'm stressing a little about managing financially with time off, and how much I'll need, but hopefully all will work out!
Good luck

I used to watch my 2 yr old nephew and 4 year old niece along with my twins. It was a bit crazy the first couple days while I got used to it, but then it was fine to manage. Since they were my niece and nephew, I was able to take them around town and do things with all four kids. I think the money from watching other kids would be nice, but I can't imagine keeping my sanity if I had to stay home with kids, especially ones who aren't my own, all day every day.

LOL I think some ppl are meant for the job, just depends if you are one of those. I have 4 kids, 8, 6, 3 and almost 2 and I watch another almost 2 yr old, a 3 yr old, a 4yr old and a 7 yr old. 8 kids in total, but some are in school all day.
I really enjoy it, it can be a lot of work, but I kind of get the best of both worlds this way!
I'm 20wks pregnant now with b/g twins, so I have NO idea of what is to come and plan on taking as much time off as I will need.
If you take on more kids however, you MAY find it easier than you thought, as they tend to amuse and entertain each other quite a bit
