I still am bleeding from a SCH. And it's not a little bit, either. One nurse told me alternate Lovenox and BA. Then another nurse told me no BA, just Lovenox. My OB said go off both. What in the world??? I am so scared that being on these meds will make this bleed worse and that going off them could cause a clotting problem. I am so confused.

I'm not much help since I don't know what BA is. Do you take Lovenox and BA regularly, or are they prescribed for the SCH? Google can be your worst enemy, so I'm not sure searchign there would be the best idea, but that's probably what I would do. Do you trust your Dr.? If so, maybe go off what he said....did you tell him what the two nurses told you to do? I would think that as a blood thinner, you might not want to take Lovenox, unless it was prescribed for the SCH. I have no medical background though, so you probably don't want to listen to me.

BA Baby Aspirin.

I would go with your Dr. Or seek a second op. Have you consulted a hematologist?

I'm putting in a call to a perinatologist on Monday. The bleeding stopped but I discovered something on my own: I was also on estrogen cream and when I stopped that, the bleeding stopped; when I went back on it, the bleeding came back. So I'm off the cream, doubled up on estrogen pills, and hopefully no more scares like this. Still on Lovenox and BA. Never thought about calling a hematologist...good suggestion, though. I feel like a lab rat with all these doctors and meds.

Maybe get a second opinion, but if you trust your doctor, I'd do what he says.
