To those of you who suggested swaddling the girls at night! I swaddled them off and on, when I thought they might need it for comfort etc. . . .Since following the suggestion to swaddle them tight all night they have slept SO MUCH BETTER! They have been waking up like clockwork at 2am and 6:30-7am except last night it was 11, 3 and 8. . .still. . .WOW, they sleep so much better! I haven't looked into any sleep sacks or swaddles that they sell but I have been using thin summer/spring type blankets.

The difference just from getting less interrupted sleep alone has been amazing. I feel semi-human again. Let's hope this continues!

They also seem to be naturally falling into a 3 nap a day schedule. A long morning nap, a long afternoon nap and a short evening nap, then they go down at 9 and 10 (Paige likes to stay up later for some reason!)

anywya, enough rambling, I just wnated to say thankyou

That's great it's helped so much. We never bought swaddling sacs, I just used thin blankets. It was amazing how tight I could swaddle them after way too many nights of practice. I think they slept swaddled until they were probably 8 or 9 months.

Yay for sleep and I'm glad they worked! My girls are still swaddled at 5 months and we just use SwaddleMe's. Right now since it is getting warmer we just dress them in a onsie (or a tank-top onsie) and the thin cotton SwaddleMe. It keeps them pretty cool but not too cool since we have our air conditioner running. I hope their good sleeping pattern continues for you!

Crystal, I totally forgot to tell you we swaddle the boys, and it works WONDERFULLY!!! I do have the swaddle me blankets, and it helps getting them really tight. I didn't tighten it too much after their 6am feeding today and they both got out of it really easy and were mad and woke up! But I do need to get some thinner ones for the summer, because Cooper gets pretty hot during the night! But yes love to swaddle them, I'm not good with blankets though so the swaddle me's are "idiot" proof for me! Okay sorry for my novel! LOL =)

I make these really big flannel receiving blankets that I swaddled the three boys in, I found my fatties quickly outgrew any of the traditional swaddlers-glad its helping!

My girls are pretty small (I'm still shocked by how small they are lol!) so the blankets we have are working well. They're to the point now where if I don't take them both down to our room and swaddle them between 8 and 8:30 they fuss and get mad at me until I do lol. I had to wait til 9pm last night and Zoeyzilla was having an absolute tizzy til I took her downstairs and swaddled her.
