When you dress your multiples - for same gendered kids do you dress them alike? for different gendered kids do you dress them similarly, or maybe cute matchy? Why or why not?

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language?

What's your November got in store?

When you dress your multiples - for same gendered kids do you dress them alike? for different gendered kids do you dress them similarly, or maybe cute matchy? Why or why not? I dress my boys alike, because I know in a couple years they probably won't want to.

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? Yes, it's weird. They use to call each other Air-o and would answer to that if the other called.

What's your November got in store? My younger brother's wedding on the 11th. Waiting to hear about my sister's baby girl that is due on the 6th. She has three boys so this is exciting for her family. And Thanksgiving.

I love trying to dress them matchy. Especially when we go out, like to church or something, I at least try to find them clothes that are the same color or have a similar pattern, and almost always they are wearing the same "type" of clothes - a onesie, or pants and a shirt, etc. Only when Lynndi is wearing a dress then Caleb is usually in a one-piece outfit. LOL If they were the same gender I'd totally do the identical outfits thing, and we did that some when they were tiny and we could get away with gender neutral clothes (like green onesies, etc). It's fun!! I figure I better do it while they'll still let me. HA!

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? They're starting to talk to each other sometimes. Not sure if they really "understand" or if they just babble back and forth. They don't do it all the time, and sometimes it's pretty cool/amazing. They never seem to do it for very long at a time.

What's your November got in store?
Besides Thanksgiving, not a whole lot that I know of yet. Might take the cub scouts camping but we aren't sure exactly when. My oldest has Boy Scout merit badge day on the 14th, but other than that it's really pretty open! Meeting a church friend next week for lunch, so that will be fun, and looks like my sister may start coming over on Tuesday nights to have some scrapbooking time. And I'm going to start sewing lessons with the lady around the corner... sometime. We've been trying to get that started for a couple of weeks now though.

Nope. I don't dress them the same. They are ID but have very different personalities and we want to respect that. We dressed them alike some times when they were infants, but that was mainly because other people gave us matching clothes. They pick their outfits every morning and I don't think I could make them wear the same thing if they didn't want to.

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? Definitely. A walked up to E tonight, said something that none of us understood (there were 4 adults here). E stood up, grabbed A's hands and they did ring around the rosies, which they haven't done in months. They have a ton of twinspeak words. Some I figured out right away and others took me forever. Ex. meme=bunny, ahnew=hungry, diedie=candy, yahyah=cracker, buhbuh=pacifier. They have others, but I can't think of them now.

What's your November got in store?
Surviving tiredness and morning sickness with two very active 2 year olds who don't nap.

When you dress your multiples - for same gendered kids do you dress them alike? for different gendered kids do you dress them similarly, or maybe cute matchy? Why or why not? Not really. I have a few cute things, but mostly I just put them in whatever is handy. Most of the matching things were given to us. I think the only matching things I bougt them were onesies that said "older and wiser" in blue for Noah and "younger and cuter" in pink for Abigail. I think I would put them in similar things for photos, etc, but then even if I had more kids I would dress them in similar colors etc for family photos, nothing to do with them being twins.

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? Not yet, but they are just babbling to themselves right now.

FIL comes to visit for the first time, then it is our 3 year anniversary

When you dress your multiples - for same gendered kids do you dress them alike? for different gendered kids do you dress them similarly, or maybe cute matchy? Why or why not? I do sometimes. I have a few things that are boy/girl matching but I have a hard time finding cute matching things. Plus Dalton got all of Austin's hand me down clothes since they are same season so I don't need to buy him a whole lot.

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? They don't talk yet.

What's your November got in store? Family stuff, a couple things going on with Austin's preschool I am helping with. And christmas shopping.

I do both, I will buy matching clothing if its a really good deal and dress them matching out of convience. Some days they want to dress the same and some days they want to wear different. This arm they picked out same pants and tees that look similar.

Do or did your multiples ever seem to be speaking to one another in their own language? They have some words for things they have come up with, way = frog, sey =cat but they seem to be going out of it as their language expands. I think their communication is less verbal, watching them play legos is fascinating sometimes and sometimes not

What's your November got in store? Danika has her 6th Birthday in 2 weeks and then its DH's birthday 2 weeks after that with Thanksgiving in between.
