We read all the time. WE've always tried, but they weren't really interested until recently. We'd "read" a book by opening it, reading the first page or two and then one of them slamming it, yelling "byebye" and being done. Now they'll sit for multiple books a few times a day. We own a bunch, but make a trip to the library every week or two to load up on other books. They love going to the library.
We sing a lot too. They love music and have figured out how to turn on just about every radio in the house. They like to crank the volume and dance. They turn it up way too loud most of the time and we have to turn it down. They like all sorts of music and are exposed to a bunch, including classical, organ and opera.
Thank you peimum for my siggie

My babies like books, but not really into "reading" yet - like Celry mentioned. They will listen to short poems though, grin and nod their heads.
But we do lots and lots of music. Mostly praise and worship. I just love watching Lynndi as she raises her hands in praise. It's very humbling, and I try to press in and join her in that childlike spirit of worship. Caleb does it too, but not nearly as often. He enjoys music and worship, but I think it's in Lynndi's future as a child of God to be a part of worship and praise. It comes so naturally for her.
And Lynndi will sing too. When they were smaller, Lynndi would sing and Caleb would dance. Now what they do is similar, but they both do a little bit of each as it goes along. I need to get a video of this!!!
Much thanks to Alethia for my beautiful siggie and tags!!
Well the babes are a bit young to show much interest but we normally read to ds1 every day and night and always include the twins when they are awake. They both like staring at the pages and will sit quietly. So I hope they love books as much as their big brother!
