We found out today that there are officially two babies! Where the other doctor thought there might be a third, this new doctor couldn't even find a trace of a third one. Soooo....I am relieved. They are both measuring about 7 weeks and 2 days. Plus, we got to hear both heartbeats too! We go back again in four weeks! Now, I am starting to be more excited and less scared!

Wahoo! Sounds like they are doing well! Glad you're feeling better about it. I'd have been worried too!

Is the new doc a specialist, or did you change OB's? Will you be seeing the "old" doc at all? Just curious.

Congrats again!

Great news! Two just sound so much more manageable than 3. I'm glad you're happy with the results of today's ultrasound.

Yes, the new doc today was the specialist; Maternal and Fetal. The old doc was my RE. Also, met my new OB today and I love her!!!!

I will be honest, 3 just scared the bejeezus out of me! Not having 3 babies, but carrying them to term safely for me and them. Whew........

I can totally imagine! Twins are scary enough!

So, are you going to see all three of those docs regularly, or no more RE? I had three regular docs (my OB and two specialists who were in the same office, not counting the RN who did my GD diet ) plus a few prenatal appointments with the pedi. LOL

They tell you to rest, and then bring you in for 3 times as many appointments. LOL

No more RE! They "let us go" for now. So, I will just be seeing a Maternal and Fetal doctor and my OB.

Both of these doctors are in the same place, just on different floors. They even coordinate appointments on the same day! I found this extremely nice b/c I am traveling an hour to see them and I will kill two birds with one stone this way!

Awesome! My docs did that too - I was 2 hrs away from April to June, when we moved down there, and the babies were born in Sept (last year).
