Last time there was a 17% difference in their growth, and they don't like to see it above 15%. This time the difference was 23%. My MFM thinks some of the difference may be artificial, since they had to jack the bed up pretty high, because I almost passed out twice. I never had a problem with laying on my back with DS and DD. Last time I was there the tech asked me if I could still lay down and I told her that I could, and I never had that problem before. She warned me that I would, and I didn't believe her. Boy, do I now! It was seriously no bueno! My MFM isn't worried about the growth discrepancy, because both babies grew really well individually compared to their last set of measurements. Baby A weighs 1lb 14oz and Baby B weighs 1lb 7oz, both had heart rates of 149, both still have big heads, and Baby A flipped so now both are breech. I had a feeling he flipped, because of the change in how his movements felt. Here are some pics :
That first picture is pretty funny. That's one you keep and torment the kid with later in life. Sounds like a good appoinrment since both are growing and the Dr. isn't worried about the weight difference.
I've heard about a lot of women having issues during the u/s. I never had an issue laying down for them and even had a few really long ones late in my pregnancy.
