Hi Ladies,
I'm Susan, mommy to DD (almost 3 in April) and expecting naturally occuring twins (girls we think) in July. Per my LMP, due July 16...per my 20 week u/s due July 23...so my official EDD has been moved back, but I'm going to assume my LMP is "more correct"...

I've been a member of JM for almost 3.5 years (joined when pg with DD) and am a member of the April '09 PR and a member of the July DDC.

I was just put on "modified" bedrest as my cervix is softening. I was hoping to find more support and advice from other mamas expecting or who have multiples.

I hope to get to know all you mamas!
May I join you all?

Absolutely The more the merrier around here, in more ways than one. Take care of yourself and those babies!

My name is Marjorie, and we have 10 month old b/g twins. They are our only kids, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I can tell you they will keep you busy! I love it though and can't imagine having just one (though I can dream of the extra sleep I would have had .... ) We are glad to have you here!

Congrats and welcome. I have 2 year old ID girls and am due June 19th with baby girl #3.

My body started falling apart at about 24/25w with my twins. I made it to 36w5d before I delived. I was on drugs to stop contractions. My cervix was shortening and thinning until I cut way back on waht i was doing. After sitting for a few weeks it was back to where it should have been. I hope your modified bed rest is uneventful and you keep those kiddos baking for a long time.

Congratulations! Were your twins mo/mo or di/di or mo/di? Do you know what the drugs you were given to stop the contractions??

welcome! I am due with ID girls on May 7th...but we are probably not going past week 38 - which is April 23. My girls are Mono/di, and we found that out right away at the 8 week u/s.

I'm 34 weeks today and going strong, so I don't have much help for you as far as bedrest goes. I'm hoping to keep working until I pretty much deliver.

I do have a son who will be 3 in May, and i'm hoping that he does good with the transition from being the only child to the oldest of 3.

Hopefully your bedrest goes well and you can keep those babies baking a bit longer!

Hello and welcome! Congrats!

My twins are almost 19 months old, my 4th boy and my only girl.

Though we did well and went to 37w2d with this pregnancy, bed rest is a standard for me because of my chronic high blood pressure. Of course with this pregnancy everything was modified, so bed rest started earlier, but some great specialists who helped me take good care of the three of us and we all did fantastically.

Can't wait to get to know you!
