Thanks ladies! You are so sweet! Sorry it has taken me so long to post, blame pregnancy brain! I thought I did.
In a nutshell, I still have 4 babies. The doctor didn't do the reduction because it looks like nature is going to take its course instead. One of the identical twins has developed a serious problem, and the doctor believes the baby will pass away shortly. When that happens, the other twin is expected to pass with it.
We have mixed feelings of course - first was relief we did not have to have the reduction (because it was such a hard decision, and also because of the risk involved), second came sadness for our poor babies. Everyone tells me it's impossible, but I'm still praying for that miracle that Baby D (the still healthy identical twin) will survive!
Tomorrow we go to have our babies blessed at the church where we were married. We are not hugely religious, but we feel like it will make the babies happy. If anyone would like to see the ultrasound pictures, go here:
But I warn you that Baby C (the one with hydrops) is there too, after the 3rd Baby B picture. I love looking at him but I understand it can be hard for some. I just hope he is not suffering. That is my biggest worry right now.
There was good news too, which is that Baby A and Baby B are doing very well! They are measuring right on target & they passed the nuchal neck test. Their little hearts were beating away. It was great to hear!

What a mixture of emotions you probably are going through. I believe everything will work out as it should. I hope you get some closure soon, so you can stop having the uncertainty and can relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
I can't imagine what you are going through! Just know that even if something isn't likely, doesn't mean it's impossible - anything can happen if you believe! I am thinking about you and you little ones and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
