Jack had his first shot last week. No side effects that I've noticed.

She has not gotten it, nor did get it. She's been in contact with in (was at the daycare, but not her class), but thankfully has never gotten it.

Sam got 2 shots when he was 11mo and 1yr. He contracted RSV when he was 3mo so his Ped thought he should get them.

The reason he only got 2 shots instead of the 5 is my Ped didnt do a preauthorization through our insurance. We ended up paying $5000 out of pocket. They only covered 1/2. (they were $5000 per shot)

Yep $5000/shot and that was 4yrs ago. It really upset me that he didnt get the whole series because I couldnt afford it. If it had been pre-authorized they would have paid all but $20 per shot.

That bothers me when Dr's offices know things need pre-authorized & they don't get it done. We wouldn't be able to afford it either if we had to pay out of pocket. ((HUGS))
