I'm usually on the special needs board, but I'm stopping in because this petition particularly effect families of children with a CHD. I'm not trying to solicit signatures, just spreading the word that this is out there. If it's something that you're interested in, please check it out

There is a petition currently collecting signatures to require pulse ox test on newborns. This test can detect complications such as congenital heart defects (many times because this test is not routine, parents learn only after their child experiences complications from the defect). CHDs kill more newborns that any other condition or accident or even SIDS.

I'm not pushing for signatures, but if this is something that you think is important, please check it out.
