Nope. First of all, I don't get the flu shots. I had a bad reaction to one while pregnant with Sierra. I haven't got one since. Second, we've all already had H1N1 here, so the vaccine is pointless for us now.

Nope. I'm not really worried about getting it. I did get a seasonal flu shot.

Nope!
We don't get the seasonal flu shot, either.. none of us.

For us, personally- DH has had the flu once (years ago).. I'm 30 and I've had the flu once (I was 16).. Alexis has never. My parents are in their 50's and have *never* had the flu. My 23 & 17 year old brothers had *never* had the flu. Perhaps i'm in a state of bliss and denial, but it appears the flu doesn't HIT our family much .. we all have really good immune systems (I get a cold once a year, if that?).. we just fight things off well. So, we always refuse the flu shot.. H1N1 included. I do know more people are getting that.. and I do take *some* precautions (I wipe down grocery carts where Alexis puts her hands.. and I wash her hands more often).. but I'm not worried about it, really.

I don't get flu shots. Madalyn is done with shots for the time being. She's missing a few shots, but I don't care. She has developmental delays and attending problems and at this point I do not know much about the link between autism and the vaccines, but I am halting all of her vaccines until she's been assessed by the pediatric neurologist. She goes in a couple of weeks. My husband will probably be forced to get one. Our military troops are always the guinea pigs for new "mandatory" vaccines.

I got mine today. I usually decline the flu shots as well. But, with my niece in the NICU, we all got it as a precaution. We really don't want Destiny to have any more complications.

^ I'd probably rethink in that situation, also. I would also perhaps THINK of getting it if Alexis were in daycare and surrounded by snotty sick kids all day! But, she's home with me all day.. so hopefully we avoid it ::crosses fingers::

I'm 21 and I've only been sick with the flu once, the only other time I've gotten sick is when I was working in a kindergarden class room.

I've only gotten the flu once, and that was when I was pregnant (getting the flu while pregnant is NOT something I recommend! ), and I have DH to thank for giving it to me. But I guess the reason I get a regular flu shot is not that I'm worried I'll get the flu (because I'm really not), it's because our insurance company covers them 100%. They hire a pharmacy that comes into DH's work and gives flu shots to any employee that wants them, and their dependents (we get Aaden's done at his pedi's office). So, there's no way I'm going to turn down something the insurance company is going to cover 100%!
