Are you more of a culture vulture or a beach bum when you're on holiday?

If I have to pick one, I'm a beach bum. I usually go to warm places and try to balance time spent at the beach with time spent checking out things away from the tourism districts. That's how you really learn about a new place is to see it through the eyes of a local.

It depends on where I'm going- most of our vacations aren't actually to beaches- we typically choose big 'attractions' (Niagara Falls) or BIG cities to go to (NYC, Boston, etc).. I'm a city bum, if I had to choose option C) .. lol! If I had to pick from the 2- culture vulture!

I'm more of a culture vulture and would rather be off the beaten track exploring. However I do like a bit of relaxing time with a book etc when on holiday but I can take or leave the beach itself, it could be in hotel gardens/by pool etc.
