Have you been to Alabama? Was it for vacation, work, driving/flying though or living. Did you do anything fun?? What is your favorite memory?

My SIL lives near Huntsville. I've been to her house 3 or 4 times. We've never done anything interesting through except a Christmas festival thing. We're planning a trip to Mobile soon where we'll check out the USS Alabama, Fort Morgan, Dauphin Island and Lambert's Cafe, which is home of the throwed rolls and we have 2 of them back in Missouri...that place is legendary.

My favorite memory of AL is entirely not appropriate for this website and I don't really have any other memories that stick out to me...

I went to Alabama in 8th grade with my Girl Scout Troop. We took a charter bus to Huntsville to Space Camp. It was a group of 12 girls, so I have a lot of favorite memories!

I have been to Alabama a few times. Mostly driving through to LA from NC. Alabama is the halfway point so we almost always stop there overnight. Tuscaloosa on the way to LA and Birmingham on the way back.

My favorite time there was when DH was in Airborne school and I went to visit him. We stayed at a Hilton and went shopping. It was so much fun!

I have been to AL like 7 or 8 times. My in laws own a house outside of Huntsville and we were in AL to visit them. Red Stone Arsenal and the space and rocket center were my two favorite things. The shopping down there is pretty good too. AL will always hold a special place in my heart, 39 weeks and 6 days after our 4th visit there DS was born
