I've driven through Kentucky more times than I can count. I also interned at the National Weather Service in Paducah in 2003.

I've driven through a handful of times. I don't think I've ever stopped for more than 15-20 minutes.

I have also driven through tons of times, and stayed over a few. I cant really say much about it other than we always get gas in Paducah because its less expensive than in IL.
