*sigh* I wish people took car seat safety seriously. Not only is that against the law, but even if it wasn't, it's just not SAFE. It's a safety issue, not a legal issue, sheesh.

Well, this is the same person that posted a picture of the same child around 10 months old forward facing with extremely loose straps and a horrible chest clip. I even showed the picture to DH (who isn't as crazy about car seat safety as I am) and he said it looked bad!

We're going to Holiday World tomorrow! It's supposed to be super hot in the afternoon, with the heat index up near 105! I think we'll be spending more time in the water park than we thought, especially Aaden!

Have fun! The water park is the best part anyway! I love the big toilet bowl thing you go down in an innertube!

Holy crap, what a day! We had a great time, except Aaden wasn't able to ride as many things as we thought. At his 2 year well visit, he was 36", which is what you have to be to ride a lot of things with an adult. Yeah well, he was just a hair too short according to their measuring stick thingy, so he wasn't able to ride a lot of stuff. So, he rode the little train, the carousel and some little cars. He had a lot of fun in the water park, especially in the shallow end of the wave pool when a small wave would knock him down. Since my dad (& his girlfriend & her daughter) went also, DH & I were able to ride a lot of the rides we wanted to ride.

glad to hear you had a good time Allison!

hi erika!!

Ugg there dont seem to be any flights going out of here to the states! i dont know if the kids and I will end up in the US in time for my Grandmas birthday or not. If we dont make it we will be the only ones in my whole extended family not there. DH thinks we should ask someone to buy us our tickets and pay them back a little at a time. I hate it when he says stuff like that, because its always my family we have to ask for money. I dont want to go into debt over some plane tickets either. Sorry for venting ...end rant.

I'm really excited.. we're canceling Verizon later today and getting AT&T and iPhones, yay!

I bet you're as excited as me!!!!!! Are you get the 4? or the 3GS?

We're going to the apple store as soon as DH gets out of work to go.

I've been with Verizon for 10 YEARS and they've served me well, and reception is great here.. I hope I have luck with AT&T :::::crosses fingers:::::::

I'm just getting the 3GS. The 4 has been having too many problems. Which one are you getting? We've had AT&T for 7 years and are happy with them for the most part.

Same
We're both getting 3GS's. Yep, not even touching the 4 until they fix those crazy problems. And, we're new customers to AT&T so everything will be full price.. we can't afford 2 brand new 4's.

We were going to head to the Apple store, because we love them there.. (that's where we got our Touches, our MacBooks, etc).. but it's 20 minutes away and we have an AT&T store not even 5 minutes away and I'm so impatient, I think we'll go straight to AT&T.

::looks at clock::

I'm going to have to call our AT&T store before I do my upgrade to see if they have any in stock. A few times when I was in there, people came in asking if they had any, and they didn't. If they don't, I'm going to have to do my upgrade online, then wait for it to be shipped to me! Hopefully I'll be eligible for an upgrade a few days earlier, like I was last time, because I'm already getting inpatient waiting until the 25th!

Speaking of i-whatevers, my ipod is missing. I am freaking out about it! My calendar is on that thing and I seriously have no clue when I have appointments and stuff without checking it. My only hope is that DH accidentally took it to work with him.
