So, I got my Jason Aldean tickets. I first pulled 8th row on the floor, and took them. A few minutes later I tried again, just to see what I could get, and pulled 6th row on the floor, so I took them also. I'll either sell the 8th row ones, or make DH and another friend go. I had much better seats last time, but I'm still happy with these.

WooHoo! Great seats! Bet you're excited!

We went on a spur of the moment Lake George trip yesterday <3 So fun!
I'm tired today, though.

Yup, very good seats! But I found out yesterday that there's going to be a Pit section, which is where we were when we saw him in St. Louis in March. It's not on the seating chart on Ticketmaster, and there wasn't an option for it when I got the tickets. It's probably better that I didn't get Pit tickets for this show, because we're more than likely going to be running late, and the Pit is a first come, first serve kind of thing.

Sounds fun, Erika!

I hate being in the pit for a show if I'm not in the first few rows behind the barrier for the stage. Mostly because I'm getting old and if I'm more than about 4 rows back, I'd rather just have a seat where I can sit down. I have arthritis in many of my joints and I can't do concerts in the pit like I used to be able to!

I'm going this afternoon to get some See's Candy. Do you guys have that where you're at? I'm pretty sure you don't, Allison....we only had it once a year in a kiosk at the St. Claire Square mall when I was up there. Not sure if it's a southern and western thing or if it's in the northern and eastern parts of the USA too. It's such good chocolate!

Hi Melissa

No See's in NY at all. But, I had some when I went to CA - San Francisco had it! YUMMY!

I'm wicked excited. My friend that came last month (the one who lives 3.5 hours away) is coming again on September 10th. Another girls day/night!

It really is! We've started making lists (because we're both big list makers) of the things we want to do, and are trying to figure out how we're going to have enough time to do everything. It's going to be a jam-packed weekend!

My heart has been racing and I've been having weird palpitations for months now - finally going to the doctor today *sigh* Wish me luck. If I get told to stop exercising, that ISN'T gonna fly!

Good luck! KUP!!

I'm so excited! I just found out that my friend (that I'm going to Chicago with) is going to be coming to visit me sometime in November! Her mom is originally from around my area, and she's coming to visit a friend that still lives around here. So, my friend is going to ride down with her, and stay at my house for the weekend. It's going to be so much fun! And, it's during hunting season, so she'll be here to keep my company while DH is in the woods!

That'll be nice to have some company when he's gone. I would be so bored if my DH left every weekend to hunt!

The doc ordered a chest xray, ekg and blood work. I have no efffffff-JMiwillnotallowyoutocensorthisword-ing clue how I'm going to get all of that done tomorrow with a 2 year old in tow. DH is not in a job anymore where he can just take off from work and the 3 people who I could ask to babysit are busy. I can't put her in day care because she's not totally vaxed.

Oh Tonya I wish I was there, I would watch Maddie in a heart beat.

I guess Im ready to tell my story about my return to germany...
When we landed in Germany I was call to the front of the plane before the seatbelt light was turned off. AS soon as we got up there I jokingly asked the guy if I was in trouble. He looked at me all funny and said Mam dont you know why youre up here? Youre a "blue bar". I said what's a blue bar? Then he layed it out to us..."mam we regert to inform you your next of kin has passed away" the me hysterical crying and then crying so hard I threw up every where. We are escorted off the plane to a bus and are taken to a private room. A chaplin (sp?) comes and talks to us then a few more people come and try to work things out. They start making plans for us to get on the next plane back to the US and to get emergancy leave for my DH. But wait no one has anwsered my question WHO DIED? time goes on and on and on and they bring us a little travel kit to freshen up and food but still no word on who passed. An air traffic controller tells us the news came over the radio while we were inflight. Theya re so sorry for my loss ect ect. But just a minute Im upset and feel like my guts are being ripped out but I dont know who for. 5 hours after all this began the truth comes out, I had been mistakenly coded as a "blue bar" when I was checked into the Charleston base terminal 5 days prior!!! I cant belive it went unnoticed for 5 days, and that they let us fly back to Germany with out telling us. Because as far as they knew someone had really passed and we were just going to have to turn right arround and fly back to the states. Not only that but I ahd to here this news from a bus driver infront of 56 strangers on a plane out on the middle of a runway? Grrr, I dont even know if Im telling this well enough for my anger and hurt to get through. can you imagine them mistakenly telling someone the same thing when there DH wasnt with them? My first thought would have been that it was my DH. I hope this same thing doesnt happen to anyone else.

Um wow Melissa....WHATTHEFUNK?? That is so screwed up. I always hear stories of people being informed that their son/daughter/husband/wife was killed while on deployment only to find out it was someone else with the same name but different SSN - I thought that's why the guys wear their dog tags??? Ridiculous.
