What is on the menu for your big Thanksgiving meal? Will you be celebrating on the 25th or another day?
If you have a recipe for a special dish please share it in the recipe sub forum.

Well, we're sort of broke and have a $40/week grocery budget, so there isn't much on the menu for Thanksgiving. We bought a turkey breast that is big enough to feed the 3 of us and then we'll have some mashed potatoes, green beans yeast rolls and cheesecake. We were going to sponsor some airmen from tech school but we simply cannot afford to feed a crowd. My mom coming to visit really wiped out our already very limited funds.

We go to my mom's (and his.) I'm making the corn pudding this year (recipe already in the subforum on pg 2). We always have turkey, ham, rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, corn pudding, and pumpkin pie. We always have more than one kind of pie but the second varies.

We had plans to go to a friends house and those fell through so I am once again in charge of feeding a huge crowd. As much as I belly ache about it sometimes I do love to cook & host big dinners.
We will be eating...
fried turkey
spiral ham
mashed potatoes
stuffing
green bean casserole (YUCK! I am not making this, my friend is bringing it)
sweet potatoes
broccoli rice casserole
Hawaiian rolls
crescent rolls
green jello salad
pumpkin pie
pecan pie

Including our 2 kids there will be 20 of us this year! Good thing my dining room table seats 14!

We had dinner at moms, and my grandparents came over!

I had gallbladder surgery a week ago, so I was a bit careful with the food.. but I still pigged out we had turkey, mashed taters, gravy, scalloped corn (or corn pudding), cranberries, baked cauliflower (with cheese and breadcrumbs), stuffing and rolls. And my brother made a yummy pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnap crust. And my grandma made a pumpkin mousse pie.
