Has anyone been to either of these? My daughter mentioned it the other day and I looked it up, seems cool, but don't know if it would be as fun, as say, Disney?

I had to look up the cruise info because I'd never heard of it. Sounds neat! Would you go on one of the all access cruises where the only do like 2 or 3 of them a year?

I am not sure about the resort. I'm not even familiar with it other than driving past it last time we were in Orlando.

I love Disney, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask. If it is something your daughter would really, really enjoy doing, it might be worth checking out. I'm always an advocate of cruising, though, so I will tell you to go for the cruise! Cruising is the best value vacation you can get.

they are 8 and 6 now, and then baby on the way. I've never been to disney myself, but I'm up for whatever. I'm just trying to get an idea for 2012 (no way it's gonna happen this year being preg)

Just lurking, and thought I would pop in. I looked into the Nick Resort because my youngest son was obsessed with it! LOL! The reviews are horrendous! Based on what I've read on all the sites and the info from several travel agents, I'm surprised they are still in business. Definitely wasn't worth the risk for us and we will be staying in Disney if we ever get there! Just my 2cents!

I've read a lot of bad reviews on the Nick Resort as well, I would not stay there!

I stayed there with my kids when it first opened. It was clean and new then. It was fun but it was not Disney. I would go again. If you are looking for a Disney alternative this is not it. If you are looking for mostly crazy water fun then this place is it.
