I usually only feel kicks at night. I felt a couple kicks today. The problem is I woke up today with my abdominal area in the centerish (my uterus and baby I'm sure) feeling heavier. It freaks me out because when Roald died that is similar to how it felt. I know it is most likely just fetal and uterine growth this time but I hate it. I want to be able to get her to kick when I need that extra reassurance. His dead weight just shifted around inside and felt like a heavy brick in my abdomen. It feels similar now but since I feel the flutteries and kicks I know it's not the same. But it scare sme.

What's the best way to inspire her to move? Have a snack or caffeine and lie on my side for awhile???

Yes, yes, and yes. My babies also reacted well to something VERY cold to drink. Cold Koolaid was really good. Or chocolate. lol.

Actually, Erin loved grape juice.

edited to add: Goodness, I left out my !! I meant to put it in before. I'm sure you're so stressed and I know I did that several times. I hope she wakes up and gives you the kicking of your life!

Orange Juice seemed to help get Bryan Luke jumping.

Ethan wanted to sleep through his first big ultrasound, so they had me cough. A LOT. It worked. He woke up and did all manner of cute things.

Last year, the sonographer got me to do some toe touches and side bends to get Noah to move around. That worked.

My friends, however, suggest drinking juice (orange, apple). I also feel Pipsqueak move around about 20-30 minutes after I eat something. Otherwise, a Diet Coke seems to do the trick because it's got just enough caffeine to get her going

You might want to just rent or buy a doppler. The peace of mind could be very well worth it.

Ice water made mine move. Also laying on my left side and gently poking or pushing on my stomach made them all move. Any time I went for my nst they had me drink ice water if the baby was just relaxing.
