I look at all you girls' tickers who are about 20ish weeks or so (because there's quite a few of you) and I can't believe how fast you got to that point. It seriously seems like just last week that you were all announcing you are pregnant again! Then I look at my ticker and it's going sooooooooooo slow. I had to take it back 5 days since I wasn't as far along as I thought I was. How am I going to stay sane this pregnancy if it's going to be this slow the entire time!?! It's nice to know I'll be 12 weeks the first week of September, which doesn't seem all that far away, but it's taking so long to get there and I have one huge milestone (Katrina's 1st angelversary) to get through on my way to the end of the 1st trimester.

Then I look at my tummy and it definitely does not look as if I'm only 7 weeks. I seriously could pass for about 14 weeks right now, which I don't mind what-so-ever, but it's going to be really tough to keep this one from people for a while longer I was looking at my friend's stomach, and she's about 15 weeks, and mine, I kid you not, is much bigger than hers and we're both on our 2nd pregnancy (she's a very petite girl though).

Oi. Please tell me the pregnancy will speed up and I won't feel as if I'm moving at a snail's pace for the rest of the 7 1/2 months!!!

That's how I've felt this whole time.

It goes sooooo slow in the beginning, I remember it seems like forever before I was in my 2nd trimester. Then around the 20 to 24 weeks mark it went at snail pace again. Then it seemed like it sped up, then it slowed from weeks 28-30. Now it's back at that fast pace. I'm curious to see how the next few weeks go. I hope they go at super sonic speed, but I'm so excited I just don't think it's going to happen that way.

Mark my words, you'll be sitting here in about 15-20 weeks wondering where it all went.....

I still have 8 more weeks potentially (hope I go by 38 weeks). It seems like it is an eternity away. BUT....I remember writing out the weeks on my calendar and circling 10 weeks, 20 weeks, 30 weeks, and 40 weeks and breaking my pregnancy into quarters. I would look at that 30 week mark and just sigh because it seemed so far away. Now I'm freaking out because I'm facing my final transition.

That's how I felt with my pregnancy with Erin too. It was just so SLOW. I think all the added worry of being pregnant after our losses does that. It felt like an eternity. It didn't help that my pregnancies were so close together that by the time I was ready to deliver Erin I felt I'd been pregnant for 18 months.

But then with Patrick...I was chasing a toddler so that was a supersonic pregnancy.

I can't really say it has gone fast for me. It might very well seem slow for you the entire time. eemd very easy for me. I was thrilled when I got to 13 weeks and the second trimester. But the second trimester is going even slower. I just keep waiting for the third trimester. I want to be i nthe third trimester because I know if something goes wrong and she can be born alive she will have a chance at life outside my womb. I just want the 28 week mark, please!!!!

Plus I am 24 weeks tomorrow and I was 24 weeks 6 days when I had Roald, but he had been dead for almost a week so right now I am pretty much right where I was with him when he died. It's driving me nuts. I can't wait to be 25 weeks. But that day will seem really sad to me...because it will be the first time I made it to exactly 25 weeks...I fell one day too short before. Seriously....after 20 weeks every week goes soooo slow for me. Hopefully it won't for you.

<<nodding>> Yep, I second this one! I still feel like I POAS just yesterday, and that was back in April, on Easter Sunday actually. NOW look where the heck the time has gone. I'm 20 weeks (and 2 days, thank you very much!) already? Seriously?! That's MORE than halfway there.

I expect the next few weeks might drag, but I think once Labor Day hits in September (where it seems to be the beginning of downhill speed for the remainder of the year because of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), that will pick up speed for me as well.

Hang in there, Steph. You'll be in your 8th month, waddling, before you know it
