Just another vent, ladies ... mostly, about me.

On the days where I feel like Pipsqueak isn't moving enough, I drink the ice cold water or the sugary drinks and lay down on my left side, begging her to punch me or kick me. Only when she does do I feel like everything is normal, I burst into tears of happiness, and I go back to whatever it is I was doing.

However, on days like today, I feel her moving much more in the morning than she usually does. Usually, she'll kick around while I drive to work, kick around a little more while I'm at work, and moves full-force in the late evenings. That's her typical pattern. But since I got to work, she's been kickboxing or karate-chopping or jump-roping or SOMETHING.

So now I question whether or not I should be freaking out. Granted, I've been starving today and have been snacking on almonds like they were going out of style. But feeling pacnicky over her moving around? This is absolutely f'ing ridiculous. I wig out when I think she doesn't move around enough, then I wig out when I think she moves around too much. I can't win!

And I can't compare it to movements during the last pregnancy; since I was carrying twins, I never could tell who was moving when. To me, it was just "kicks"

I don't know what to do except try to keep telling myself to relax, that everything will be fine ...

Yep, I'll be the exact same once Sweet Pea starts kicking. It'll be such a beautiful thing, but scary at the same time because I'll be constantly monitoring it like crazy.

I had just this same type of feeling the toher day when she seemed to be kicking alot more forcefully than before. But....as long as she is moving I usually do all right. But...there have been many times when I lose track of when I last felt movement and then I start to hyperventialte a little and drink something really cold. Ugh!!!
