And yet, it still seems soooooooooo far away to me I am getting and already am SO SUPER excited!!!! But then there's the other side of me that is really scared to get too excited - the side of me that fears the worst and thinks those horrible what ifs.
We're pretty much completely ready for her. Her room is all set up, her stroller and car seat are all ready, her clothes are all washed and folded nicely in her dresser. So now I have 11 more weeks and I don't have anything more to do to prepare for her. At least the time went by quicker these past few weeks because I had so much to do in preparation for her. But now....I'm just waiting for my due date to arrive and just getting SO excited and anxious. I look at her clothes, room, stroller, and all her stuff and this HUGE smile appears on my face and so I'll talk to her about all the stuff we're going to do when she arrives and what she'll be wearing and well, I just get so giddy thinking about it!!!! I set out her coming home outfit tonight and got so excited picturing her wearing it and how adorable she'll be!!!! Then I remember: I still have 11 weeks. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Once January is over, I *think* February will go by pretty fast because the Olympics will be here in the city near to where I live and since we have a few tickets, I would imagine it should go by fast? And then I'll be starting mat leave right after that - at the end of February. But, tell me girls, what should I do now? What should I do to occupy my time to make it seem as if these next 2 1/2 months go by nice and fast?

Eating chocolate is a good idea. Babies of mommies that eat a lot of chocolate during pregnancy are clamer because of the 'feel good' hormones that are released whenyou eat chocolate.
Do you have a hobby? Can you crochet or knit? Maybe sew a little? Make Sweat Pea a blanket. Even if you can't sew or anything you could make fleece blankets and a pillow, all you need for those is a pair of scissors and the ability to tie. Maybe a cross stitch or latch hook?
When they persisted in questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let the person among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." John 8:7 Sail Back to Me
And holy, I forgot you lived there.... we're going to the Olympics! Or at least we're going to be in Vancouver during the Olympics - Den is going to some event, I'll just be sitting on my parents' couch watching the TV, haha. But we should so meet up!!!
I'm not much of a knitter, but I am actually going to start scrapbooking soon. I guess I could always start with her u/s pics and such! I do like sewing as well, so yea, maybe I could make a little something for her
We got lots of tickets to curling haha. That's cool you'll be in town around that time, let me know when you're here and we should meet up! That'd be cool!
