Induction next wed. Nov 11!

So I had my amnio on Monday. It came back immature. I would use the same word to describe the Peri that performed it. He didn't think we should do it. My OB did. We went with the OB, he acted like a jerk.

Anyways, My OB consulted with a different Peri. Based on the FLM numbers increasing at 2mg every 2-3 days he feels comfortable with her inducing me early next week. She added a couple of days buffer and will induce me Wed Nov 11. That will be 37w3d for me. I'm really excited about not having to do another amnio.

One more week!

Yay!! Sorry about the Peri being a jerk though.

You realize with that birthday your baby would turn 1 on 11/11/11? That's awesome. lol

Just one more week!! You can make it just one more week.

The best day of my entire pregnancy was the day we set our induction date. Having a clear light at the end of the tunnel...a tangible date and goal to reach somehow makes the stress manageable. Thinking of you!

I think that's why the end of my pregnancy with Patrick was so much harder on me emotionally than with Erin. With Erin I knew we were going to induce at 38 weeks from the beginning. With Patrick I got it into my head that I should go into labor on my own, so I didn't know when he was going to be born and the not knowing was the hardest part. That's also why I'm planning on inducing with any future babies too.
