Hi new to this

Hi I am new to this message board....I am 40 (soon to be 41) and expecting a baby in Jan '10. My husband and I are very excited (after two still births). I still can't help but be worried but this time we are having a c-section and hopefully things work out ok. It's hard though because I want to start the nursery but again.....being cautious! Just wanted to introduce myself and say "HI" to everyone! Congratulations to everyone!

to JM! Congrats on your baby & trust me I know what you mean! I was due in Jan '10 until I had a m/c. We'll be TTC again next cycle... FINALLY!

You may want to check out the Pregnancy After Loss or the Stillbirth board!

Welcome to JM! I'm part of the "older first time mom" club too - I had my son in Jan '08 the day after my 38th birthday.

Congratulations on your pregnancy - you should check out the Jan '10 Due Date Club where you'll find other moms expecting at around the same time as you. I made some great friendships in my DDC and highly recommend it.

I'm very sorry for your two previous losses - I've had 3 miscarriages (2 before my son and 1 after), so I can relate to how difficult it can be to really relax and enjoy a pregnancy, but do try because before you know it, you'll have a baby in your arms and you'll need that nursery.
