Hello, my name is Jen! I've been married to my wonderful husband for one year. He's been ready to have a baby for YEARS! I am now ready. I am DEATHLY afraid of labor and delivery. I have never been more scared of anything in my whole life. I'm looking forward to being on here and speaking with other pregnant women and other new moms. I'm looking forward to hearing womens' labor/delivery stories and what worked well for them and what didn't. I thank you in advance for the confidence I hope to gain and for the support I hope to get.

Welcome to JM! I think you should do a lot of reading on labor & childbirth. If you are afraid of having pain there are so many things you can do to manage the pain. When I had the epidural with my son I didn't feel a thing. It doesn't have to be painful.

We are ttc too. I am cohost of the Am I Pregnant board and the Fertility Charting board. We would love for you to join us!

to JM, Jen! I wish you the best of luck TTC! I think labor is scary for most first time moms (and even those who gave birth already)... definitely read, read, read. educate yourself, and stick around here!
