Hi everyone...my name is Brandy, I have 3 children ages 17 (girl), 15(girl) and 6 (boy) and possibly one on the way. I have taken 3 pregnancy test...first 2 negative. I took the 3rd one this evening at work and it was a very, very, very faint positive. I have been having all of the "typical" symptoms. Nausea, VERY tired, tender swollen breasts, frequent urination and my period was supposed to arrive on Jan 7, 2011. I found this site and was excited! I will probably lurk for a bit before posting "too much"!
Welcome Brandy, I have been on jm for a few months now and honestly think i am addicted. Even if your not pregnant you'll find lots to do here. Rather it is talking to other moms about raising teens or talking to moms in your area. If you enjoy tv and music check out the entertainment board we try to keep the activity moving on there and we are always playing some game or talking about something...hope to see you there

UPDATE: Took a digital test today and it said.....PREGNANT!!!!! I went out after work and bought a bib for my fiance that says "Daddy's Little Valentine" and wrapped in a plain white bag for him (I wanted yellow or mint green, but no such luck) and I got the book "Expecting 411"....Anyone have that book? Back in the day when I was pregnant with my girls I read the "What to Expect..." book. With my son, who is almost 7 I don't remember reading anything Just wanted to give you all an update and share my excitement. I am scared too....my mom is gonna KILL me. I am 39 years old and scared to death to tell my mother!!!
Congrats hun!!! I've read what to expect but never expecting 411. lol i like your afraid to tell your mom i am 24 (today) engaged and have a 4 yr old and i am afraid to tell mom i am ttc

Congratulations!!!! Make sure you check out the September Due Date Club!!! I have never heard of Expecting 411. I've read quite a few of the pregnancy books too. They are fun. Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope I see you around JM.

I am 41 and am not telling my mom we are TTC! Congratulations on your positive pregnancy test, you will love it here at JM.
