Hello, I heard being a part of mommy message board was very helpful, so I decided to try it out.
I'm having my first baby boy (first baby period) in just a few weeks. I have a bunch of stuff already, crib, baby bath, playpen, highchair, diaper pail, stroller, clothes, a couple bottles and of course clothes. I don't have a car seat yet, but plan on gettin one soon. Like this week... but am I forgetting anything??
Also, my obgyn (at the health clinic) thinks my baby is breech. So she scheduled an U/S, and he was head down, so that makes me nervous. She said if he's breech, I'll need a c-section. I don't want her to schedule one, if I don't need it. I guess its not a question, more like something that's been bugging me...

He was head down (vertex?) Which made me happy, but nervous that she thought he was breech.

Docs can be wrong too. Since the head was down, don't worry. Welcome to JM!

Welcome to JM. My babies were big flippers. They'd go breech to vertex and back again. One of them did it IN labor. Went from vertex to breech to vertex again. It was crazy.

@Shortcake:

I was just there!! Thanks for the invite. How does it work? Can I post or respond like a normal forum? What is the thing about Sunday nights at 7pm? Is that the only time to be on that forum?
Sorry for all the questions Thanks again!

@WishingStar:

Holy cow! I haven't heard of that but that makes me a little less worried about him being breech. My ob wants to schedule a c-section if he flips from vertex to breech. I'm nervous about c-sections. I'd rather have him natural unless there is a life threatening complication. That is soo silly though about yours flipping during labor!

@everyone else. Thanks!!! I think I'll like this site
