Hi all!, I am new to Just Mommies and wanted to stop in and say hello! My Husband and I are TTC our first child. I have PCOS and luckily my husband has no issues with his little men. I have tried unsuccessful in a previous marriage to conceive with Clomid for about 10 months. I guess in hind site that is lucky bc that marriage did not work. But I am so luckily that I now am married to an amazing and supportive husband, so now we begin the emotional rollercoster again!
I started with a new doctor, who based on my history started me with 2 months of Metformin to see if I would conceive on that alone ( I had a feeling I wouldn't). So those 2 months have just recently passed and I am now starting my first cycle of Femara. I had to take Provera to induce menstration and am now on CD 4 (day 2 of Femara). I take Femara on CD 3-CD 7.
I am very hopefullly that this will finally be my miracle. I have 2 friends who both struggled with PCOS and one got pregnant on her first cycle of Femara and the other on her 2nd cycle, so I have high hope!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me and my thoughts and prayers go out to all you ladies you are struggling as well! Hopefully we will all get that BFP soon!
